He was too focused on his goal in killing Paulo. He didn’t recognize him because all his thoughts were about that. Gabriel is his first love though so that will not change.
I'm somehow getting an uneasy vibe from saliou. I feel like he doesn't really care about gabriel that much, like he didn't recognize him immediately- but I don't support paulo either hhh
