Cicero and Kister are twins. Like have you seen their build, eye colour and hairstyle? Kinda obvious if it really turns out that they are twins.
So long ago, at some point Kister and Jonathan went out together. Cicero who was at that time already a notorious hidden killer decided to make Jonathan; the lover of his twin, his last target out of spite so he scribbled down "Jonathan April" on the last page of his notebook.
Time skip, they are all at this hiking activity with other university students. Cicero and Kister got into a huge fight upon Kister finding out about Cicero's plans. Jonathan came at the worst moment and was pushed off the cliff by Cicero and followed by the scream of his lover, Kister, before losing consciousness. This adds up to the reason why Jonathan keeps having recurring nightmares of witnessing a fight then falling off a cliff and hearing Kister's voice at the end. He then was escorted by his brother Baron, his friends Jerome and Robert and by an ambulance. Upon arriving at the hospital, he was diagnosed with a condition that made him lose his memories prior to the incident and everything that has to do with Kister.
The fight between the twins ensues at another place. Cicero, having killed the 33rd victim in a whole different style than his previous 32 murders, frames Kister and made a run for it but he accidentally dropped his notebook in the midst of it. Kister picked up the notebook and finds a way to meet with Baron at the hospital Jonathan was admitted in before being caught. Kister entrusts Baron with the notebook and told him about Cicero's plans. They decided to work together. That is, while ex-theater kid Kister is in jail staying in character acting as the murderer, Baron swore to protect his precious younger brother and search for Cicero using his reporter skills. He then proceeds to scribble all over the last page which has Jonathan's name on it to cover it up in case someone else finds it.
Baron asking Jonathan to stand in for him to interview Kister at the last minute may be his intention from the very start. He wanted Kister to be able to meet his beloved. And the rest plays out like what we have seen so far. Cicero is in disguise as Jerome's boyfriend to get close to his target, Kister being affectionate with Jonathan while trying to stay in character as "The Murderer" and etc etc. Thank you for reading this far :)
