I was actually planning to drop this but came back here because of the comments. I was curious because I saw lots of comments saying MD is being a dick, or being petty and all and I just got so curious since last I read this, chanwoo rejected MD. And so now I caught up to the chapters and...
I just don't understand why people are hating MD?
In all honesty the one Im disgusted in is Chanwoo.
. Like he rejected MD, which is totally cool since everyone has the right to reject someone,
. and he went on and boy hunted, which is again totally fine since he's not in a relationship
But the thing is, he introduced the guy he liked to MD, which may or may not be a violation of their contract, turned out the guy was interested in MD and not him so now his pride got butt hurt, he insists on continuing his contract with MD even though he's implying that he's interested in the new sub. At this point, Im guessing he's just doing all this to not lose to the other guy who hurt his pride by using him. And others are saying "MD should've just told Chanwoo that he's not interested in him anymore" and that's why he told him to leave if he wants to, he's made it clear that he wants the better sub and since chanwoo didn't want to leave, he made it into a competition.
So can someone please tell me (respectfully) why MD is the one being a dick?

MD made it into a competition because he wanted to get back at Chanwoo. Plain and simple. When he saw Chanwoo's reaction at being used by the other sub to get to MD, his face lit up with a smirk because he knew he could use this as an opportunity to punish Chanwoo. MD has no intention of taking Seunghyun back.

I don't think it was a violation of their contract because MD could have just refused to meet him, so that part is okay I guess.
I don't think that MD is really being a dick. To me he still seems interested in Chanwoo, and either he's looking for a new sub to not be linked to Chanwoo by their job and try one more time to ask him out, or he's using the guy (just like the guy used Chanwoo) to confront Chanwoo with another kind of play and search for his limits because while reading the chapters I felt like MD is kinda worried about Chanwoo never using the safe word, never saying no...
I'm just waiting for the next chapters to decide who is the real dick!

Hmm... I'm not really the type to assume without concrete evidence, but fair point. I would like to think that smirk was full of possibilities. It could be as you say, that he only wanted to get back at chanwoo, he could also be just enjoying the situation, or planning to see something interesting, or like he said, wanting to try out something he always wanted to see. If he really wanted to get back at chanwoo, it must mean that he's aware that his actions could affect chanwoo for example make him jealous. But if so, then he must be aware that chanwoo is interested in him which I don't think so. Chanwoo never really showed any hint of being romantically attached to him before, and I really don't think he is (I just don't see it). If he's doing it knowing chanwoo has no feelings for him and that he's actions wont really hold any effect then he's simply being an idiot

Yes, I can see what you mean and I agree. Which is why I'm completely puzzled as to why many people are criticizing MD

And I totally respect that. It isnt right to assume, but as far as how things were going in the story and MD being honest about his feelings towards Chanwoo, also the fact that they are meant to be the side couple and the history of toxicity within the relationships of this entire manwha beginning with Alex and DG, I think it is safe to say that MD is trying to punish or enlighten Chanwoo by using his ex. As you said that is a very foolish thing to do, but I wouldnt put it past the author to go that route. Alex and DG's story might have ended happily but their entire relationship process was messy as heck and not in a healthy way.

In all honesty, I don't get it either, MD is the one managing the broadcast, he is the one who has had several subs with (probably) the same contract. So he decides who to continue the broadcast with, and well he said several times "if you don't want to, then leave", but chanwoo is just stubborn because he wants things to go his way when the broadcast and all that is up to MD and not him, if he wants things to go his way then he should go make his own broadcast with a dom he likes with his own rules. And we don't reaaally know the reason why MD is doing it, but technically speaking, he is the "boss" so if he decides to "fire" chanwoo then so be it, if chanwoo doesn't want to "fight" for his position given the opportunity to do so, then he can just go look for another dom then :^V

Let's not play dumb. Please. MD isn't interested in the other sub at all. He is just petty because of rejection and he is taking it out on Chanwoo. He used manipulation. It's not safe BDSM play. When sub's choices are impacted by external situation and he feels obligated to do things he is not comfortable with. What MD is doing is wrong on some many levels right now. He demands Chanwoo to be in play with the guy who just used him and treated him like trash. If you think about all abusive bfs in Chanwoo's past it's really in poor taste. Chanwoo had every right not to reciprocate MD's feelings. Many people don't want to mix their romantic relationship with BDSM one. Because often it changes the dynamic of one or the other.

I see! Thank you for your insights. Im actually enjoying the exchanging of opinions rather than the manhua at this point. Like I said I was planning to drop it because of it's toxicity and was just curious about all the comments. It's very interesting seeing different sides and views depending on what the person sees as 'right' or 'wrong', but honestly now I see that both of them aren't any better than the other.

Whoa, I never said anything about reciprocating feelings. I know that MD is being petty, but Chanwoo is also wrong. You say he feels obligated, but he was the stubborn one who wouldn't even say the safe word when he actually needed to in previous chapters, when he rejected MD he still wanted to keep the profesional relationship they had knowing that that could hurt MD's feelings but didn't care because he wants things to go his way, so now that MD has a say into wanting to stop the contract with chanwoo or not, it doesn't matter???? He always did everything chanwoo wanted, tried to protect him when he wouldn't protect himself, and now that he acts selfish he is suddenly the devil himself?!?!??! In all honesty, I never liked chanwoo because he was always very selfish and MD had to adapt to him, and when MD caught feelings, chanwoo had him around his finger pretty much, but now that MD sort of "threatens" to remove the benefits he gave to chanwoo, he is suddenly the bad guy??? Chanwoo gave his consent to the competition because he wants to keep his privilege as MD's play partner, when MD could just be like "I'm done with you, you prefer to hurt me because you want to stay as my play partner, but I can't do this anymore if you are just selfishly hurting me", but instead he is just being petty about how much chanwoo hurts him. So I know MD is petty now, but chanwoo was a dick from the beginning, so they both wrong.
