I completely agree with you, people need to understand that this manga is actually being realistic, like is she supposed to enjoy violence?? It makes more sense for her to be scared, it will obviously take her time to get accustomed to the duke, can’t tolerate the hate either, people really need to give it a chance.

I believe the reason why the FL gets so much hate is because she doesn’t really stop to think things through she is very one minded. Like I can understand her being scared of the duke cause everything that already happened and she already had a negative view of him. But when he tells her that Ains is not who he seems to be she doesn’t even stop to consider what the Duke is saying like that’s Ains father and has been with him since he was a baby it’s safe to say that he would know his own son best.
Or the incident with the poison yes since she is from the modern world she would see it differently but the duke told her that the reason why they do the training is to build tolerance against being poisoned. Ains training is to better protect himself from the many enemies they have. So for her to force what she thinks is right without taking in all the facts about the time they live in as well the position that the family is in is really scary.
Lastly the fact that Ains acts cute and childish in front of her is really bad because she is thinking she is saving him when she really isn’t because she will need to correct his bad behavior. If she is not even open to the fact that he might have a dark side already is very neglectful because he will just grow open to think he can get away with evil deeds if he acts innocent in front of other and a bastard when no one is looking. She needs Ains to be his authentic self to in order to truly turn him from his villainous ways
People really seem to forget that she's a modern girl, who've read the novel and knew the characters as villains, and who is scared of violence because obviously, it's scary????
I've been seeing comments that hate her for it but I will be dead stiff as well if i was in her shoes. As readers, we know Ain is manipulative and the duke isn't what he seems but MC doesn't know that. What she knows is that Ain is still a child who will grow up to be a villain, but he is in fact already two-faced even at the young age but again, she does not know that! You can't blame her for being put in the dark geez
And she's stiff when she's with the duke because she saw him together with a bloodied man. Yall lying to yourselves if you don't get scared shit seeing that in real life. That gave her the impression that the duke is a villain through and through
And in regards to the poison, hello????? We, as readers, know that it was a way to protect the ain from poison in the future but yall telling me our modern girl mc, in that situation, should not be concerned about that?? I've said what i said personally, i like the story. It's an okay read, just can't tolerate all the hate surrounding this manhwa
