Bruh seeing some comments I don't understand how everyone can think as far as you guys Every character has their own traits And looking at the Mc she did read the novel before hand and when she did she was already sympathising with Ain because of the real cruel mother And hearing her describe the novel "it didn't seem like the novel revealed Ain's sinister side" since the novel seems to be focusing on Ain's suffering from his mother rather than he's grudges About the romantic stuff between mc and Ain don't you guys think that Ain just found the Mc interesting to play with at the start but then turned soft since Mc was able to prove her sincerety and love towards Ain
Pretty much seeing the story what's happening here first is the author is building Ain's relationship with the Mc first rather than the real love interest which is the father and I feel like the conflicts gonna be somewhere near in the "middle" of the story
I think the reason why your all finding it unpleasant or uncomfy might be because the started with Ain instead of the real love interest Just imagine if FL and ML met first with tension would also be a good alt for a first impression of a story but that kind of thing is kind of becoming a trope in this now I don't see anything wrong with trying to mix things up
