I personally think shes a shitty mc with no discernable originality or uniqueness or anything of interest that makes her relatable or makes me as a viewer want to root for her. She doesnt have normal emotions in terms of wanted to return home or finding way immediately and she's pathetic and unsympathetic and generally unlikeable and stupid. So i dont quite like her. She doesnt have anything to her personality tbh. There is nothing to her that makes me care.
Otherwise i like the story and that fact that even in another world your life doesnt magically change. That was a nice breathe od fresh air to the genre and the yaoi couple was an interesting add. I think this manwha however lacks the proper light heartedness its trying to achieve and fails at its attempts and comedy which doesnt distract from the severity of the plot for a natural breather nor does it make the mc more likeable. Its a interesting manga and i intend to continue thou. In the mean time none fo these characters have personality but despite being in chapter 10..and i feel the mc doesn't either. They are all very surface level. Angry, evil, victim, mc. Thats it
all imma say is priorities; in a life or death situation securing your own life comes before finding a way home. you need to live to do that shit. also if you look at chapter 3 again; it's basically implied. basically "so I just have to survive until the queen dies?!" pretty much shows she's thinking about how to get through things so she can figure out what to do later. when her life is less endangered. That's clearly an emotion and she's displayed plenty of those. And yes they were normal ones. Not everyone handles things the same way. For all we know she could be the calm type in emergencies; a bit frozen and dazed but works through it because what else can be done?? As for the characters appearing 1D to you - they don't to me even at this point and maybe some spoilers will help you see that too but you're entitled to your own opinion. And this isn't so much directed at you but at the future replies I know I will get; she isn't doing nothing for the queen - she's literally planning to try and raise that unloved child with some love, sense, and reality. She's trying to keep him from being brainwashed which might at least spare the queen from being killed so easily (and apparently she doesn't get killed so looks like it worked a bit.) Everyone can only do what they're capable of doing.
why is everyone hating so damn much on the mc??? esp when we're only like 7 chapters in, lol. she hasn't done anything atrocious & why yall attacking her for just wanting to survive? if my ass was thrown into a novel where nearly everyone gets killed at the whim of the lead....that'd be my only fucking concern, too. feelings for others? sure; i can feel sympathy for someone stuck in a terrible role but it doesn't go beyond that. she's a maid. what fucking power are you all expecting her to have to save the queen? if she so much as tries right now she'll get insta killed by this fucking psycho bitch yurigel or w/e. that aside, the queen doesn't seem happy but she doesn't seem out of her mind depressed or trying to escape - she's still serving people attitude where she can. yes, her life is fucked up. but that's not something someone with 0 power can fix currently. as for - SPOILER - the queens future death by illness....a-fucking-gain; wtf do you expect mc to do? was she a doctor in her world? no? then holy fuck chill out she doesn't have some op cheat - if you can't handle something that isn't overwhelmingly in favor of making op ass mc or something where not everyone gets a rainbows and unicorns ending - yeah, this might no be for you. but at least this has some realism to it so maybe try to appreciate that. as for mc getting a bunch of hot ml's chasing her - IT'S THAT SORT OF WEBTOON! YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE IN FOR. YOU'D NOT BE CRYING IF THEY WERE CHASING THE QUEEN SO AGAIN PLZ CHILL???
