Cole's the representation of many ex-boyfriend side characters in BL novels and idk why people are defending him here
I used to be okay with him in the first book smh
Alex is attractive, a good person, and loyal (Imagine being that perfect) and somehow they shift blame to him just because Cole gets "anxious because of how perfect Alex is". Fuck them.

I understand all of the different points, all of Sensei's character have flaws and I love that.
Alex is in a dysfunctional relationship, Cole is kinda psycho, lily likes guys she can't have/that are unavailable and Brad is trying to break a couple up because he thinks he could do better (selfish or cocky? You decide).
However, Alex does have this mysterious background to him... Cole has all his back story told to us because he's the protagonist, doesn't mean he's not Perfect (which he is, perfect in every way), plus there are a lot of people asking why exactly Alex is staying with Cole... Which is obvious after the ending of vol. 1, but it may have to do with his back story.
Ok just stop guys. Just because u see yourself in cole (unattractive there I said it come at me) doesn't mean you can justify what cole did.
