The author said she didn't think Jihyun was loved by so many readers so she's gonna draw another extra for him (don't know how many chapters there will be), it will be an alternate ending where Chiwoo accepts him, that's what I heard from instagram

That's unfortunate to hear. Sad that she fell under pressure to do that alternate ending. The reason why I like Back to School in the first place is because it's unlike typical, illogical yaoi where the ML falls for his rapist. It showed a more realistic story and reaction of Chiwoo being rape victim trying to get past his trauma.

I really don't know how she would write that alternate story where it would ever make sense to me for Chiwoo to not only forgive but end up in a relationship with his rapist.

Jihyun never actually redeemed himself for what he did to Chiwoo. Crying and feeling bad about what he did, after realizing Chiwoo will never want to be with him does not redeem him of the shitting things he did.

Are you sure that's not just fake news? I reread the final note in Back to School ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/back_to_school/uu/iur_chapter-45.5/pg-1/) and it really didn't sound certain. For most of it, the author is pretty clear that she doesn't think Chi would forgive the rape and if they were to be together, Back to School wouldn't have even happened.

People change. And it’s from a very reliable instagram account, you’ll know next week. Although I'm not sure if she will draw a new universe where Jihyun didn’t try to rape Chiwoo or a brand new ending in which Chiwoo forgives the rape attempt.

I think it will be "What if story" like she said in the Q&A, would Chiwoo accept and Jiyhun if he didn't rape him. So like if that never happened, would Chiwoo accept Jihyun and work things out

I feel like that kinda ruins the story :/ i kno its an alt story but that just seems like chiwoo forgave him again and wouldnt make jihyun change much

Then just don't read the other extra. Some of the readers want to read it and since the author also wants to draw it I don't see the problem here. After all It's just an alternative ending. If you want the unlike typical realistic version just read this one. It's not like the alternative ending will take away the specialness from this one. Personally I like both. We all have different tastes when it comes to manga. Don't think too deeply about it... ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I fully agree with you because like Idk someone in real life who fell/forgave there rapist and if she makes that extra I hope that its not apart of the actuall story line

If your talking about that the rapist changed I dont think anyone would forgive there rapist even if they change because it doesnt deny the fact they raped sum1 cause sum1 I know got raped by sumone close and the person didn't forgive them but I do think shes making it into like a whole new "universe/story" like you said tho

I'm in agreement. I saw the raws and was immediately disappointed. I have mixed feelings overall about Back to School and it's not likely one I'll reread but I don't have anything against the author just at the end of it I felt mixed emotions about the story. I think showing an alt ending is kind of off-putting personally for story telling but I will let the author do what they like. I already feel ambiguous about the story and now it's like hey or take this alternative ending!
