in my opinion :
-Chihiro said that he is a porn actor because he and Chi-chan (a porn actress who hajime likes) have the same name.
-he said if his parents were divorced and he lived with his father, whereas his father rarely returned home. So, maybe he didn't want to use his father's money so he worked.
But it is still his father’s home, so it is just a bit half-assed to not wanna use his father’s money out of spite but still living in the house.
Maybe because he thinks "ah I've become a burden by living in his house, at least I buy my needs with my own money"??
Just re-read this and from what I understand:
-Chihiro used to sell his body for money after his parents' divorce, probably by having sex with his clients at the bar (tho saying that he is a porn actor is indeed confusing and his age after divorce as well...but anw, so he went with his dad but he said that dad works all the time so he was technically living alone so maybe his dad doesnt work for him, hence the need for money and a job). It was said that he earned a lot from it so maybe that's why he became rich.
-Shortly, he gave up having sex with his clients after doing it with hajime-chan and proceeded with being an escort at that bar instead.
-He probs told hajime-chan that he is a porn actor because he has the same name as chi-chan, the porn actress

Is it just a translation thing? But there are a bunch of things I am confused with...
- he said he is a porn actor but then apparently he is a host/escort?
- why does he need the money? He lives in a huge house and his family seems really well off...
- how old is his little brother? He looks like he was born after the divorce..I am assuming the divorce happened about 9 years ago because of the dog.
- the timeline for the divorce and everything seems off...I am confused
Seems like the author was confused on what to do with the plot like it was a mix of so many other mangas.
I am not complaining about the art and the smut scenes. I think this manga is for those who just want a light no-brainer read. It gets over the top and the characters are sexy af. Still giving it 5 stars even if the plot is confusing af.
