I don’t think this author is sexualizing rape though- when you see gabriel “enjoying” it, it’s actually paulo doing it. He’s manipulating him into thinking he’s enjoying it. Remember where he said that he could make him feel aroused again in a snap of his finger? Exactly he makes him feel aroused it isn’t gabriel actually being aroused hence the author isn’t sexualizing it.
Yes, that's in plot- however he's still enjoying the rape, unfortunately. If someone just handed me those scenes without telling me the plot, I would think that it was consensual sex and they were fucking with both their hearts in it. So, essentially that's not good because it wasn't consensual. Hence they are sexualizing rape.
What are you even saying? Did you even read the whole story of this? Yes, if you just saw snippets of that you would THINK that it’s consensual sex but if you READ the story you would know it isn’t and that’s what the author is doing. They are basically showing us this isn’t consensual sex. The readers are twisting it thinking it is. Same went with killing stalking, were the readers THOUGHT it was a romance story but if you READ it isn’t a romance story at all but a thriller one. See what I’m trying to say? Thinking and actually having read it is 2 COMPLETELY different things (btw i’m not tryinge to be mean here, it just frustrates me when people are misunderstanding the whole plot/author)
