Soo I understand the dislike of Kako from everyone, I feel like that’s the norm with a lot of female mc In shoujo But I don’t feel that annoyed by her? I kinda like her. I agree that at some points she does meddle in too much that’s not her business and should be held accountable for(it will be boring if she didn’t do those things tho, I was kinda like omg girl do something), and I agree with yui calling her out during her troubles, I feel Like that’s the BEAUTY of it you know? You don’t get that a lot, being called out for tropes. Tbh she also had like a more personality to her than I thought she originally did! But I think the important part is that she ADMITTED it (her faults) and is willing to change for the better. And someone mentioned but she is only 16... that’s reallllyyu young and not a lot of experience plus she comes from a sheltered home, there’s not a lot of things she knows. But she is always willing to help others in her own way and make sense of the world through her own experiences and mistakes. She’s a good friend, and she’s willing to risk her life for others. I also wanna say, she’s really empathetic and tries to see the good in people.. and you can support the victim while also believing the attacker can change. People can be rehabilitated, and tee-sensei seems to be that. Also kako never has a loss so it’s hard for to understand what kouta is going through and didn’t intentionally mean to defend tee-sensei. I do think she was trying to help in her own way. She’s still stuck by him to support him.
Also the thing about quitting the place is kinda tricky... i understand why kouta said it and super valid... but I also understand kako wanting to continue, she’s found what she likes to do and she’s build a community in there. Being forced to quit is a painful feeling, it’s like she found her calling.
Also.. she’s 16.. that’s young to understand and grasp things fully.. I think she’s too young to be married but.. ya know...
Also.. yui words are hella hurtful lmao like yes they might be friends but— girl chill down the tsundere, I get irked when she says rude things to the bffs mikado and kako— which btw are such goals ugh love them! <3 My girl mikado she will find someone, maybe ryu!
I also wanna point out that she had help form everyone around her to help, it wasn’t a solo missions. They tried to save others all together! I don’t want to downplay the annoying things she did, like she did some annoying things like the whole wanting to know yui story.. but honestly what young teenagers aren’t annoying and nosy.. I know I was lmao
