Mam as much as I hate and despise Jgy, I blame it all on his father, the chief fault was his for fooling around a lot. He completely deserved the way he died!

The kid was killed by Jin Guangyao himself because he found out that his wife was his half sister.┐(￣ヘ￣)┌
And after learning that, he refused to touch his wife again and so they remained childless. When his wife learns abt this, she kills herself.......I think it's just a few chapters before the scene when she kills herself is here.....
