Please can anyone suggest a good anime just like Given's good plot??

Any genre would do (romance, seinen, shounen, shoujo), totally up to it..

Well, I'm not sure what you would consider to be "similar plot" but Dokyuusei is a good bl anime. Oh, but it's a movie. And it has to do with music.
