I have now rechecked and Chapter 41 the sister is calling Hajin and yelling at him asking if he was getting Back with Jaehee but she calls Hangyum instead.
Hangyum goes there to verify with Hajin. Jaehee
Indicates something there is something inbetween them. Hangyum assumes Hajin picks Jaehee and still hates him. Hangyum thinks Hajin hates him that is the reason for lies and him transferring schools in high school.
Obviously Hangyum misunderstands the past and misunderstands what has happened in chapter 42.
If he properly explained to Hajin this may not had happened. He walks out say they both are Jaehee’s problem. (Sohyun and Hajin). Hangyum thinks it is over with him and Hajin in chapter 42. He did not save Hajin because he did not know but if you think about he did stop Jaehee from doing anything. If Hangyum was secure in the relationship and knew Hajin’s feelings, he would not gave up and fight Jaehee. 5 years of thinking Hajin hated him. In chapter 40 they did not break up. They need to have good open communication and stop lying but maybe now they will be more honest.
As for the manger calling , I don’t know but I could guess Maybe Hajin is fired? I am not sure what has happen from dawn to 2:07 pm. Hajin is going to misunderstand that until he talks to his sister and Woojae or maybe just Hangyum. There is a few ways the author can take this.
