I tried so hard to review previous chapters because im so honestly as lost as you are, but we can see hints of this theory in chapter 19 and 31. I say theory because it's not really confirmed yet.
I can't wait for this whole fiasco to be sorted out because I can barely keep up with this webtoon lol
That is not a theory. Chapter 19 confirms the Idol is the former friend when chapter 2-18 provided hints. Chapter 21 shows Hanwool never meet Hajin and when Hangyum asked him to be Hangyum . 27-28. Hanwool and Hajin meets for the first time. Chapter 39 is the second time but this time Hanwool as Hanwool. Hangyum is not pretending to be Hanwool but he is pretending his brother is the one that meet Hajin due to he thinks Hajin hates him and never wanted to see him again. It is clearer in the Korean version. Tapas has made this confusing
