Please help me understand your point of view. I tend to focus on the Korean side. I do understand Hangyum, and I do understand everyone's frustration with his actions.
I don't see where he is dating Juri to get Hajin jealous. He did that to smash the rumors and protect them. Smart, stupid, a mistake. Can you pen point the area where Hangyum is dating Juri to get Hajin jealous. I don't think that is the case........
the other party? Meaning Hajin, we know Hajin likes Hangyum but did Hangyum know?
Also, I don't see when he is making others as scapegoat. He did use his brother because he wanted to be with Hajin and thinks Hajin will never want to see him again because he thinks Hajin hates him.
Hangyum needed to let Hajin talk in those times when Hajin brought it up and have good communication with Hajin. Maybe he would had learn Hajin did not hate him or realized that Hajin stay even thinking he was Hangyum from the past.
This is a Korean story wrote by a Korean with Korean social norms. I understand some of this in a different way by understanding the Asain ways but I wished I understand this before I started to date my boyfriend, who is Korean. My boyfriend is similar to Hangyum. Honestly, this manhwa has helped me understand him better. We could avoided many situations.
But back to Hangyum, it is mostly his fault, or it is both of theirs but really it is neither... misunderstanding and mistakes happen. Hangyum seems to have dumb ideas but I don't think he meant to hurt anyone or meant harm. He just saw a situation and tried to fix it. Which was smart only if he and Hajin had nothing in between them. But stupid because they did......
I wonder if I would see it like others if I have not being learning about the Asian culture for years and dating a Korean off and on for a few years. Maybe I would haha because at the beginning we fought a lot over many many misunderstandings. Most of his actions would be view negatively in a western view. Now, I get the just of it.

First of all, I do get your frustrations.
no has said Hajin had no right to feel used or say the things he said. He had every right and that is a normal/natural reaction. I don't understand why you think someone is against what Hajin did? You don't have to defend Hajin.
You are correct in that Hangyum could had done everything better.... but let me remind you, Hangyum is like 17 at the time. Teenagers do stupid things. It has only been 5 years not 10. Hangyum just turned 23. Also in chapter 40, if Tapas does not change it, Hajin will say 5 years.
I said this on another thread, Hajin and Hangyum was not dating in the past. Hangyum did not have explain. We know how Hajin felt but Hangyum did not. Also, maybe Hangyum did say something and it did not show? I don't know, maybe not. When Woojae and Hajin are talking that is most likely all assumptions. Though this story does not show things and takes time to reveal. This is 5 years ago and Hangyum got punished and just rewards. He is now so insecure, if Hajin know he was the one Hajin knew that Hajin will leave him.

So you know, since I seen your comments and can feel hatred toward Hangyum, I will reveal Hangyum will get it turn on him. Hangyum will get punished again and get just rewards, just wait for chapter 42.
Hangyum is not the bad guy nor is Hajin. He is just a hopeless guy in love making reckless mistakes.
