At first when he saw Sid as Gyeong Joon he refrained himself from as much as touching him. He realized something was not right. Only after Sid put him under stronger spell then he lost control. Also it's canon when someone is used as a 'door' they took damage on both their mind and soul. Jim Yeong is a victim, stop blaming him.
