She has not change anything in his education except for the poison to which he explicitly told her (when she asked him) he didn't want to take any (he lied). Now she comes meet him during his breaks (where he would take poison). At this point in assuming that she thinks Aan becomes evil because of his father and step mother. (obviously he was evil before that).
I'm sorry but did she ever asked for the boy opinions on the education thing? Just incase I didn't see it.
The Duke did explain why, which I think is an understandable explanation since it seems like everyone one is out to get them,
But she seems to not understand the situation well. I think personally I would've let him continue his education to be strong because we all know there is always someone trying to kill them but give him one day off to do fun stuff with her or whatever ╮(￣▽￣)╭
