As far as tge light novel goes, Lucia loved Damien and treated her like a biological son and Damien treats Lucia like a mom. Sometimes Hue became jealous of their relationship, that he steals some of the embroided hankerchief Lucia made for Damien. Lucia went as far as insisting that Damien would be their only child and heir. But shit happens and she got pregnant. Hue was so happy about it and a bit nervous since her pregnancy is delicate. The last thing that I read was Damien is off to the capital to meet his half sibling and was excited and ready to protect it and Lucia no matter what[/spoiler]

True, but since the whole noble society assumed that Damien is an illigitimate child of the duke plus Lucia signed an adoption paper to Damien making him her own child, and though considering that they live in that era in which you can marry cousin to cousin(barf I know, but royalties did that and *boom* hello hemophillia and genetic disorder) they cant marry each other. Its against by law of the noble society.
