1st, I love Bella.
2nd, they were kids. Krisis was an orphan. His master aka father figure and his whole hometown were kiIIed and burned. He didn't have the fortune of having a family unlike Bella (not discrediting her for being obv a better person tho). He is intellectually developed and emotionally unstabIe from his origins alone tbh. That's an awful combination. Iykyk.
3rd, he almost let their client get kiIIed to protect Bella, so he def thought that his feelings, which he hasn't experienced before since he's a child, are getting in the way of his plans and dreams, so yeah y'all can connect the dots from this or wtv.
