I think it was his goal but,, if he knew this is what it would take (y’know, besides him trying to physically break chanwoo bc we’re not just gonna forget that) then he shouldn’t have done it. it wasn’t his place to break chanwoo, no matter the reasoning. he could have , like a normal person, just hoped that chanwoo would do some self reflection one day
I agree. The very fact that they had a safe word shows that MD was giving Chanwoo an out at any time. I know people think MD should do more than just apologize, but Chanwoo kept going until he used the safe word. Yes, it was messed up, and yes, Chanwoo didn’t use the safe word sooner because he was VERY scared of losing MD. But I think the apologies and holding the crying Chanwoo are more than enough in this situation. That and a promise never to take it to this extreme again. Which I doubt MD would ever do again anyway, after seeing how badly it affected Chanwoo. Even if it was simply a “lesson” or a way to get Chanwoo to realize his feelings.
