I think the safe word changes, and cuz it’s a three party thing now not just MD and chanwoo they chose to use a new safe word
safewords vary in every bdsm relationship. vanilla in this case, for these two characters, simply means stop. It sounds like they both have different phrases that are related to each other - MD: let's get macarons. and CW's is "vanilla, I want the vanilla ones"

yes, that's how I'd play (clear safe words etc), but either this is an author error (she probably forgot lol), or the trio agreed to having different safe word(s). not sure tbh
