Read or not?

I read Tokyo ghoul quite some time ago and I loved it but Tokyo ghoul: re said nothing to me and I dropped it after the first chapters. now I don't know whether to continue or not. Usually I hate when in the manga the protagonist loses his memory. Can you advise or tell me in which chapter Kaneki will remember everything? (so to decide later).
p.s = I would like to see hide without a mask. Where can I find it?

IMO it's worth it. Not up to par with the first but it's still within my top 10 manga. The only problem i find with it is that it felt too rushed from the last few arcs (tho I understand the circumstances why that happened and I dont mind. Basically re was rushed because Ishida's mental health started to deteriorate which led to the rushed story)

Anyway, it's hard to say when Kaneki will remember everything. I would say chap 53 (tho there are still some uncertainties) chap 75 is definitely the comeback of Kaneki.

I can't really remember what chapter Hide's face got revealed.

Btw just to add, I really love the premise of TG:re. I know a lot of people had mixed feelings with it because the start basically felt like Ishida just threw Kaneki's whole being into the recycling bin. I was kinda mad cause kaneki was a great character. Tho reading it I realized how important the new Kaneki is and how sad and tragic that character is. Anyway give it a go! + The art is definitely better than the previous one Imo (⌒▽⌒)

I know exactly what you mean! I was exactly like that because I disliked him loosing his memory. The only thing that kept me going initially was that I saw a pretty big spoiler, (the summary of the last chap) and I figured he’d get his memory back. Eventually he did and I think it was around chap 72ish that I personally understood for sure that he got his memory. http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/tokyo_ghoulre/bt/tokyo-ghoulre/164/pg-18/ Here’s hide without the mask, but it’s quite towards the end of the story. I think you should read this. I found it beautiful and a masterpiece
