The novel is really good and I waited for this scene, but it was disappointing :( I thought it would be more dramatic :/

Right. I dont like how they even cut it to just "i hate you" the whole line was just much more impactful. Im a lot disappointed with this scene considering that the manwha was pretty mindful of the novel since start but why did they have to water down this part huhu

The manga was a bit more watered down but i kinda cried in the novel when this scene came up. I really felt bad for the MC because in the original world, her 2nd brother bullied her so much that others thought it was okay too. They trapped her in the gym and kicked and punched her whole body including her face. She was so beaten up that she was only able to leave the school after dark and no one at her house even came looking for her. She felt so miserable at that time that she questioned why didnt her family just allowed her to be an orphan when her mom died because they hated and ignored her so much they might as well just have let her be. When the family found out about what happened to her because she broke down crying in front of them for the 1st and last time, her 2nd brother beat everyone up and told her about it. Like here, she thanked him but it was mentioned that she felt so sick thanking him because he doesnt deserve it. Like she said here, he was only after all cleaning up the mess he made.
The MC hated her 2nd brother the most. So when she woke up a bit from her state, and it was the 2nd brother from the novel who rushed to her side, she thought she was seeing her original 2nd brother so her first few words were "I hate you. I hate you a thousand times more than you hate me." The 2 Eckart brothers were super shaken by this which led to another "game event" that i wont discuss cause it would be a spoiler to the next chapters.
