I’m curious why you didn’t like it... sure the FL was insecure like a lot of Harlequin FLs, but she did try to stand up for herself at times. And the ML wasn’t an asshole.
I dont know why I hated it so much but everything about this just really rubbed me the wrong way especially the part where he compares her to his dead sister "they are similar in both personality and looks" and then kisses her. So fucking wierd. I genuinely would rather an asshole male lead or a cliche plot over this. And I REALLY hated this FL and I dont know why, I've read harlequins with much worse FL's and didn't really Mind them but she just really pissed me off especially the part where she says "I've been considering your sister as my love rirval this whole time" like who the fuck says that???
