Scanlation groups

Guys, I’m thinking of joining a Scanlation group but I don’t know any other language except English? What should I be doing? Also, is it a very hectic and (for lack of a better word) bitchy atmosphere?

You can clean up the art, or fix their grammar

I’m in one, the scan teams are basically just like friends who u work with lol. you can probably join in as a typesetter, proofreader or a quality checker.
