But basically, the overall story foreshadows the mc dying from cancer. The ml and mc have been together since high school, but over time the mc notices that the ml is cheating on him but keeps it to himself. The ml would also kind of abuse the mc but the mc just holds it in. Sooner or later, the mc meets somebody, ml gets jealous, and more plot. In the mc's last moments, he was with the other dude that he meets and passes away. The ml feels a lot of regret. The end.
