Yes, but from the few chapters I read of the manhua, it skipped a looooot of stuff. The TV drama (at least the 1990s one I watched) is a more a faithful adaptation to the novel.

i havent read this manga but when I read the plot and the characters, its the same from the drama series I watched, isn't it?
