they change cause the author makes them change for the plot's sake just like they make the FL dumb has a rock and act with zero common sense or logic.
remember that this is a fiction story that does NOT follow the real-world logic in any shape or form.

I agree with all your points and the further this manga continues the less I want to read it cause of her stupidity of not trying to even remotely trying to start understanding her role or the family dynamics. She's such a ignorant woman that she's missing all the points and at this point I gave not F if she lives or dies cause she had every opportunity to create a better relationship with father and son for a chance at family.
This is just my opinion but I think the fact that she's so happy or lucky or clueless makes her charming. As much as I love a strong FL and those who are capable or adaptable this is also as charming to me. I cant expect all of them to be suddenly thrown into another world and just be serious and capable all of a sudden to me, it's just seems that she havent fully comprehend the fact that they are murderers and all ya know cause ain shows her his childlike self but the duke showed her a person that he was killing. So maybe that's why shes not giving him a chance and still thinks that ain is ya know what she think he is. But all this is just my opinion u can disagree or agree with it :)
It's curious to me how the main reason for them to be changing like this is due to her personality and yet all this people in the comments are hating her lmao like the duke is interested in her because she's ignoring him and is having a good mother-son relationship with his son, he wants to be included and it will come with time. I find it really rude how she's being called an idiot in the comments but ok
