That's not the uncle. It was prime minister Gilbert, who said that the mother doesn't care to show up, and to me it looks like he did that on purpose. The uncle is called Vesto, and he appears later, when MC asks for permission to stay with Stayle. They look very similar (I thougth that they were the same person), but the prime minister has long hair in a ponytail, while uncle Vesto has short hair.

This was an important plot point because it pushes the ML to her side because she gets so emotional. Also that would apply if anyone else had heard their conversation but she only told him. Odviously she isn’t the best noble yet but like I think it’s safe to say she’s fine for now. Also the thing about the uncle I completely agree with
Apparently subtlety ISNT in learned among the nobles.
Seriously???
What uncle tells their niece their mother couldn't make time for her- as always- on a day like this because her sister was slightly sick-as always
And her. "If I turn into an Evil Queen one day, be sure to kill me, ok?"
Bruh- the dude LITERALLY fainted in front of you, running a pretty damn high fever, Drew here unloading all your emotions on him come some slack!!!!
Also, you're known as an oracle of sorts- your words mean way more than you can possibly imagine, which, aparantly, isn't all that much as you're talking about an awful future as if nothing.
ugghhh I don't know why I'm so on edgeeee
