Putting that aside, can I also say that both McQueen and Chang are not that great in the light we all put them to be? Both have hurt Ed (and others) in their respective ways, to which Ed has overlooked certain things and has dealt with this in his own way
Hey, that's some fair analysis! You actually managed to see the positive sides of Chang, impressive. I'm not rooting for the guy, but if Chang's approach towards Ed hadn't been rapey and assholes like, I would have been supporting that ship and Mcqueen, of course he didn't go for the good and respectful way so I'm for Mcqueen, still had Chang been better I would find it an interesting twist in how our MC ended with a different person and not the expected. Kudos to you man for seeing the positive side of people. But seriously, if the author manages to write a good enough redemption for Chang, I'd jump to his ship, since I see Chang as the type of person who does care but sadly isn't good at delivering it and ends up hurting instead, welp too bad.

That was a deep analysis man, I even realized some things I never saw or considered, but mostly I got the gist of a lot of it before, your definitely one of the few rare readers I've met to manage a breakdown and analysis of the plots, I'd definitely read any more of your analysis on any story. Keep up the fair voice of reason and perspective, cause that is a definite rare quality in an individual.

chang has done 4 things this chapter
1. perpetuated eds positive image of grandma ling bao instead of exposing her as the questionable woman she was just to not break eds bubble
2. called out glenn for selling eds porno vid because believe it or not kids, that is not a nice thing to do specially when youre a millionaire who 100% does not need the money and when youre dating the affected person
3. made sure if mcpimp was serious about ed and wont throw him away, bc tbh glenn has fuckboy written all over his face so its understandable imo, again, he does that bc hes worried about eds wellbeing
4. payed for the rights to the porno without caring for the price (doubt the rights were 20 bucks, it shouldve costed a lot) to make sure what was torturing ed would be appeased in some way, again, for eds sake
