She knoes that too, when he said " be the kingdom's sword" she paraphrase it into "being the kingdom's SHIELD" meaning indirectly as way to him telling that she wont be used as weapon, but instead to protect not to kill. So when he tried to 'bribe' her she denied everything making the King realize one way to another that she won't serve as a weapon no matter what things he gives her. Lololol i like her so much hehehe
