I'm pretty sure that he's 1 of the twins that were born after Sanghee from the same mom. The mom received "favor" again from the emperor bc of his fondness for Sanghee or something like that. That's what I vaguely remember from the manga adaption, I haven't read the novel yet

No I meant the other king. The villain king. I thought he only had his daughter the princess with magic. I do not remember him ever having a son. A yes, the novel is on tapas. That’s where I read it.
