Yeah, it's a really gray area. Eren wants to protect his friends and his people, but Marley has spent hundreds of years convincing the world to hate all Eldians and to wipe them all out without exception. Eren's really only left with two options, to wipe out the world to ave his friends and his people, or to let the world kill them all. He's willing to do absolutely whatever it takes to save his friends, even though his friends don't want to be saved this way and are now trying to stop him. Personally, I still think Eren is planning something else, like he's trying to pull a Lelouch or something similar.

Yep, for Eren and his followers, it's kill or be killed. In my opinion, there are a lot of things they are doing that is for the right cause, but there are times when I don't believe it should be done like that. It's all a matter of perspective. And yeah, I'm wondering if Eren is trying to pull a Lelouch, or maybe even a Kira.

I don't think he's going Kira. On the surface, Light may have wanted to make the world a better place, but that was a front that maybe he himself didn't even realize was a cover for his god complex and sociopath tendencies, and the more he indulged, the more corrupt he became while refusing to see that he was becoming the evil he hated. Lelouch, however, was willing to do whatever it took to achieve everlasting peace, even if that meant painting himself as the bad guy and making himself the enemy of the world. That seems much more like what Eren's doing, making himself, rather than just Eldia, the world's enemy, and why he tried to sever all ties with his friends, so they wouldn't go down with him when he eventually falls.

Like I said, it is "maybe" possible. I'm not disagreeing with the notion that Eren would take the Lelouch route, but I guess in other aspects, Eren does blur between the lines of Kira as well. The main difference that separates it though is his reasoning, which certainly makes him more similar to Lelouch. I just wonder what Isayama will do from here on out.

I can definitely see how Eren's pure hatred of Titans and desire to wipe them out can kind of be compared to Light's desire to kill all "evil" people, but there's still a difference between them. Eren initially thought Titans were just mindless monsters. This is part of the reason why he was so disgusted and in denial when he found out about Annie, Reiner, and Bertold. He was horrified when he found out that all Titans were originally humans, and when he found out that the true enemy (Marley) were human too. He was torn with having to fight actual humans. It wasn't until he spent all that time undercover in Marley and learned that the whole world was against Eldia and would stop at nothing to kill them all. He didn't want to do what he knew he needed to do, but he eventually came to the decision that he would do whatever he had to do to protect his friends, and that's why he started the Rumbling. That's drastically different from Light/Kira, who let his power, selfishness, greed, and god complex go to his head and began viewing all life aside from his own as insignificant and had absolutely no issues with killing people, even letting his family members die without care.
I'm still with Eren all the way. I can't bring myself to hate him especially now that no one of his old comrades are with him now.
╥﹏╥ He's all alone to finish whatever it is that he wanted to accomplish. I'm gonna stick with him till the end coz I know its gonna be a heart wrenching chapter once it ended. (/TДT)/
