Like what? Just a "Bye Bye"? No, "Mommy has to leave, but I want you to keep smiling for me." or anything like that. She didn't even turn back and look at him when she was at the freaking gate! So who cares if she was tearing up when that man came to pick her up, our baby cried because he was confuse and conflicted onto how could his mother can just up and leave him like that. And from the looks of it, there was no complete warning or signs of it from his point of view.
So what if you felt unbearable in the presence of Hozumi's father, that didn't mean you can't and wouldn't contact your son for six whole years!
I would be so damn mad if I find out she has a family because if she has the time to create and raise another family of her own, she should have time to connect with Hozumi too! You may hate the father, but you can't just disconnect yourself from your own kid.
