not a bad person but wishy washy in behavior. also, not entirely a good person, more slightly warm, not hot or cold. the way he treated her wasn't due to thinking of her as a daughter but b/c of how she treated the mother just then and the mother sucks. that implies things about not just his taste in women tbh.
