Yes it's called survivor's guilt
Well, if she returns, she will at least learn that there is nobody blaming her for dissapearing.

Well, if she returns, she will at least learn that there is nobody blaming her for dissapearing.
But even if she went back home, I don't think that the guilt will stop. I mean if she is happy there too, the nightmare will still plague her for being happy. This is just a thought.
