Jennette is the one who caused Claude's death in Lovely Princess, and indirectly Athy's death as well. She did it without conscious though, but yey now we have solid reason to dislike her.

Well to be fair I think Izeikel was charmed with Anathansia more than Jeanette because he saw Jeanette more like a sister and pitied her but didn’t really love her in a romantic sense or was charmed by her in a sensual way. Whereas Anthy was Cleary beautiful even when she was depressed because he f the beauty of both her parents and probably radiated the urge in him as someone he desired to be with to protect, to love and to make happy and to see a beautiful smile on her face. Rather than the girl who still did get love around her Athny #1 had no love around her. But that’s all a theory

In the first chapters when athy was narrating what happened to the athanasia of the lovely princess, the fcking plot of it makes me want to throw that book or whatever media it was in. The jeanette in the book was sooooo weak in character and now growing up with that jeanette is so damn frustrating like i want to slap her. She believes anyone to the point that it's not innocent anymore. Granted that she was young and people around her made her believe that claude and athy are her real family but bruh she needs a wake up call. I'm sorry this is long ╮(￣▽￣)╭

in all honesty, i wouldnt even be suprised if jeanette turned out to be a little crazy. she seems a bit possessiv and delusional, thinking she is entitled to being part of that family. like that scene when she came back from her secret meeting with claude and found athy and Izeikel in a room together.
she might snap when she finds out that claude actually doesnt give a crap about her..

In the novel (it's important to note that this may or may not happen in manhwa cause manhwa seems to change a bit), on Athy's (i think 15th) birthday, Lucas asks Athy for a dance and Izekiel feels dejected. Jennette saw his reaction and realised his feelings towards Athy, which later on led her into realising that she likes Izekiel. She confesses to Izekiel but he rejects her. She says he will never get Athy (because she's with Lucas), but Izekiel says even so, he cant accept her because he sees her like a sister. This causes Jennette to lose her shit and straight up goes to Claude, reveals her jewel eyes and is like "I'm your daughter too!" Duke Alpheus of course panicked since that's not planned. But dont worry, Claude goes "you think i dont know?" and he tells her the exact line he told Athy in Lovely Princess.
