This is just how I interpreted this 'cause I think the mangaka was really on crack while writing this one (≧∀≦)

Takahashi and the seme are just really good friends. Seme-san is just really worried about Takahashi because of his really naive/airheaded personality (he did fell in love when they were in highschool, one-sided thou). That's why seme-san was relieved to see that Takahashi have a very close(protective) family.
