nah, those are the people who died before Shin even defeated the Boss and made sure everyone logged out.
when he did finished it and went to the door thing, the game changed into a real world (and learned that he slept for 500 years) where i think some of the people who he interacted with spawned somewhere in that world. just like the Couple with the daughter and the Cat. tho i can't remember if they are still high humans but called "chosen ones" OR they became chosen ones ... idk i can't really remember much anymore hahaha

Yes they were all players who died before shin could kill the last boss in the game.. and no they are not high humans.. basically high humans are those who use humans as their game characters before new gate became reality.. and holly, shadow and nekomata are called high elf, high/lord shadow and high beastman if im not mistaken, but im sure it high elf and lord shadow.. though they all belong to HIGH people, Shin literally is way higher in terms of power, he is the strongest player in new gate..
