I think its pretty clear that SaliouxGabriel will endup together and im not against that. No question to that but about that ' paulo changing his appearance to Saliou' i dont think that's the case. Of course i understand its harder to understand because you're reading it unlike in movies you get to understand it more because you can see how things happen. Paulo didn't change his appearance to Saliou. It was Gabriel seeing Paulo as Saliou. At that time Paulo didn't even know who Saliou is, so how would he change to someone he never even met. It was Gabriel's desire that made him think it was saliou. And Paulo didn't actually change his appearance. It was all in Gabriel's mind. He was hallucinating. The reason why he was hallucinating is, no question asked, because of Paulo. But Paulo only made Gabriel see what he desires. And he desires to have sex and to be with Saliou. Gabriel was completely aware that it was just Paulo lookin like Saliou.
And... did Paulo ' changed' to Saliou before they have sex? No. When they started it, all there was was Paulo and Gabriel, no Saliou. He only saw Saliou as they were about to end ( im talking about their first sex) so i think that doesn't count as proof that it was rape.
