naw fam i agree on your rant i am on the verge of dropping this too and the first place why wood they redeem a a hole like him if your gonna make a story of an a hole killing the mc family then don't justifiable him just because he made her favorite dessert does't mean he "good guy' now he still killed a lot of people this man even killed his own parents even tho he had no competiton on the crown that's how much and a hole he is

I have a feeling about that shady chef, his introduction really wasn't giving as much impact so I figured that he isn't as important as that no-good emperor so that put me off knowing he's just some second ml to the story.
Afterall, at this point I'd prefer the chef over the red bastard but nevertheless he'd just be another stepping stone to cultivate feelings between FL and ML.
Plus, he seems to have some ulterior motive and if he did fall in love, then isn't that just shallow? Its forcing his character to just directly get interested with FL and it's mildly annoying. I'd prefer if FL remained ambiguous and dense with her character and focus on creating real friends not psychopaths!
Rant over~ this is just my opinion tho so please don't be offended if ya'll prefer this as otp.
