I really don't think so actually, I think Henry had SO much character development. IF anything, I wish for character development for Sam. The whole reason it was really hard for me to support Sam and Henry was because I felt the whole reason they were to be together was on the past, nothing really happened besides Seth coming in and being the catalyst for Sam to realize his feelings. Seth and Henry grew so much together, but I feel as if Sam was just... stagnant. Idk just how I feel hahahaha >W<
but also i get what ya mean, like it seems as if the author hinted that part of the reason Henry was so afraid of giving love was bc of his trauma from his parents divorce when he was little. But the author never really explored that which is dissapointing. also, the fact that Henry relied of Sam's family as well, which he didn't want to lose if things didn't work out w Sam :(((((⊙…⊙ )

I am very sad for Seth and angry with Henry cos he lead Seth for so long and he waited for Seth to break up with him or something. He was a coward til the end, even when he already knows that Sam love him the same way he do. I understand his situation and it's also part of his personality but at least a little character development would be nice.
Though I'm satisfied with the end but I think it needs more to see the development of the couple like extra chapters please. And it would be nice if we have a nice side story about Seth.
Overall, it was a good read (even though I hate love triangles, though I read this because of the childhood friend tag). One thing I wish was a character development for Henry.
And I love that the mom knows what happening and she's pretty cool with it. Hahahaha.
