And "what if" chapters are not cannon. They are fanservice for Jihyun's fans. What if he never RAPED him and hurt him. Nothing less, nothing more.

No one said they were canon and no the couple isnt someone else, its actually Chiwoo and Jihyun... why would it be called what if, if it was about completely new people? Strange.

And what if is alternative universe where he didn't hurt or raped him so situation is a little bit different than you described.

No, I'm not fan of Jihyun. I'm the first person to point harmful and useless from rape to love trope and speak for victims of abuse and sexual harassment so no I'm not some crazy fan.
