After she gets drunk and they fck and she gets pregnant she leaves. Homeboy doesn't know about the baby. From my memory, he lets her skip town cuz he thought that she felt it wasnt gonna work out. From my memory, she left cuz of the baby and cuz being the king's bride won't let her keep her title as a knight and she loves it and won't have that. He married his wives because it's the emperor's duty to keep the other countries that he took over happy(to decrease the risk of other countries forming up and starting a war and shit, y'know the drift). He doesn't love them, only Paulina. He misses her so much that he goes to find her and when finding her he discovers her and her son. One wife is in prison, the one who birthed his daughter died, and the other asks for a divorce. He and Pauliana end up together, he makes a law so that she can keep her title. Daughter becomes the queen, Pauliana's son becomes a knight. Happy end. Dw guy, it'll be fine it's just that alot of shit will go down before the happy end is reached.
Also there was a point in the novel where they were talking about Pauliana not being able to be with the king cuz of her irregular period(she was assumed barren, her period wasn't regular cuz she's a unit, y'know the drill with really built women) so suck on that damn asshats she had a baby!
