the novel is indeed a bit different, its a bit more dark comic than the manga so id recommend to read it from the beginning.. Though any see how big it is and scream.
it usually update once a week, and if you don't want to read from the beginning chapter 140 is around the same time as vol 6 chapter 9/vol 7 chapter 1 of the novel..
