All I got to say about baam is that he's been given way too much power ups, which I don't directly criticize, I mean, he's being used by FUG right? so FUG obviously will make everything they can to power him up to get their plans rolling, so his power growth is justified. But, compared to his character growth, Baam's still an awfully naive kid that doesn't even realize the extent of how he was and keeps being used.
And there he is like, "yeah, they're using me for their political war but I don't have any motivations or ambitions of my own (Well, I did have one...), so I'll do like I don't see anything and go with the flow, just don't touch my friends whom I don't really know that much or nothing at all, but I'm fond of them anyway, so NO TOUCHING THEM".
Ugh u_u, I remember SIU once saying this story wasn't about Baam, for the most part at least.
Yeah, I honestly can't see Baam dethroning Jahad, and even if he manages that, He's just not fit to be king. And I bet FUG will be more than willing to take the rulling position in case Baam doesn't, which then led me to think that once they're there, their next objective will be to get rid of Baam. That will be a pretty 800+ chapters of lame plot twist I tell you.
Oh, I'm praying Khun and crew stay out of all this mess. You realize this will result in a fight between insanely OP Irregulars? the moment Baam's friends get directly involved in the fight, that's when we'll see blood shed. at that moment the fact that Baam's being used will worth crap if that cost him the lives of those he says he cares for.
Yeah, I bet as readers we can't help to expect awesome moments to be shared with the MC's crew together, like dreamteam fighting together or using friendship power, BUT, and this is why I trully believe Baam is a millenium away from standing against Jahad:
Current Jahad is not only an OP irregular, the dude has reached godly grounds being quasy-omniscient and his knowledge and special abilities and tools and weapons from the ancient Guardians of the tower gives him something Baam's actually at lvl 0. That is the wisdom and experience and resources of someone that is called the *First explorer* of the freaking tower. There is a gap there, an abysmal one at that.
That is not something Baam can simple boost up like all his others abilities. He's literally thinking of fighting someone that was in his place thousand of years ago, someone that did what he did, grew as he's growing and even more so because he (Jahad) did it as a group of adventurers pushing their limits to best themselves and not because a group of rebels guided him from one power up to the next. They went and did it earning the title of pioneers.
The fact that, mentally speaking, Baam's still a naive kid even when we're on S3 already, makes him considering fighting Jahad in the future a really poor joke.

I dropped this a long time ago bc of that shitty freckles girl and it annoyed me to see mc being used by others with his friends life on stake. But I'm too bored and this pop up in my mind. Let's just hope I'm not too frustrated to the point of dropping this again. I'm dying for some good read ( ̄へ ̄)
