not that i agree with comparing them, because i don't, but in my opinion it's easy to compare stories of similar types to a well known one. like saying "this story is a better romance to Twilight"
someone might say but hey! there's no werewolves, only vampires in this story it's unfair to compare them!
it's just something easy to compare to. for solo leveling, there is obviously something about the story in general that is desirable.
for me, that is the world building. i compare stories like this to solo leveling to see how good their world building is. i HATE when people just compare it to different things overall when they are clearly different. i agree. but it's just easy to compare to.
I agree that it's good but even solo leveling got compared to hunterxhunter. When something from a more popular franchise is seen in something else, people are gonna compare it. The only thing I find funny is that they decided to name him woo-jin when in solo leveling his name is jin-woo. Other then that, I dont really care if they are similar.
i agree that i don't care much. and, in my opinion, these stories are really different anyway.
I get that solo leveling is good, but like why is it that every single manwha with the same genre I go to has solo leveling in its comment section? XD it's just kind of annoying at this point. Like this is a different author, with a different artstyle and a different approach to the same genre, so like hmmm? Appreciate it for how it is. Cause its fucking good.
