Adult!Lippe looks so much like her mum it made me sad, because we know what future that is from.

Strange enough the ML's interations with Lippe don't creep me out the way Hal stares at her.

Well, Hal is only 12 himself so I think it's because the author chose to keep the ML's affection more subtle. Or something. Poor Hal got done wrong, lol, he ain't a criminal.
