1. introduce a manipulative seme **has to be attractive/rich/fkboy
2. rape
3. give him a sad backstory so the readers can sympathise
4. uke falls for him
5. add rivals and jealousy so the readers root for the main couple
6. make the seme super vulnerable
7. ta dah
